New Digital Production Facility Build Begins
1st June 2007
As part of a major expansion, imageData Group is currently building a cutting-edge digital printing facility at the new Ozone business park on junction 37 of the M62 at Howden, in East Yorkshire. The new 67,000 square foot facility, which will also have fulfilment and logistics operations, will complement the group's three existing site operations - in Hull, Leeds and Brighton.
The decision to build the new facility reflects the company's need to increase its production capacity to meet increasing demand - growth in the digital printing sector alone has been between 40% and 50% per annum in recent years.
With a turnover in excess of £25 million and over 300 existing employees, imageData Group offers an unrivalled single source service for the fast and cost effective production and delivery of premium quality printed communications and supporting services.
imageData Group's customers include a substantial number of top 100 FTSE companies, whose operations the Group supports throughout the UK and into Europe.
imageData Group Chief Executive, David Danforth said: "We are working on a number of new contracts and the new facility at Howden will provide us with the capacity to be able to handle these projects in their entirety. The Ozone at Howden will enable the Group to create a high-level facility in a relatively low cost area which strategically fits between our existing Northern operations and provides excellent communications to all parts of the UK."
